Who We Are

Who We Are

The Nunavut Black Business Association (NBBA) is a community-driven charitable organization based in Nunavut committed to advancing Black and Inuit communities in Canada. We combat anti-Black racism by addressing two key issues. First, we address the historic underinvestment in Black communities by providing support and subsistence. Second, we work to enhance collaboration among Black organizations and leaders, enabling more impactful support and advocacy. Our focus areas include education, youth development, healthcare, gender equality, entrepreneurship, arts, culture, recreation, and food security, all aimed at improving the quality of life in Black and Inuit communities across Nunavut.
